Observations on the intake area and its immediate neighbourhood alone may not suffice to make an assessment of the situation. The situation assessment and the risk factors have to be identified having taken into consideration the situation in the entire area.

Uses and Utilization of the Dashboard
This Dashboard displays CBOs/WS Systems with potential risks to their Sources/Intakes due to Erosion or Landslides.
It enables the relevant and / or responsible agency to plan for, and arrange the type of interventions required, when called for. It could be technical advice on the type of protection best suited for respective Sources/Intakes to avert potential risks of Erosion and Landslides. They could advice & facilitate the CBOs to mitigate the risks of erosion or landsides.
