Gravity: WS systems where water from sources is conveyed to consumers by free gravitational force without the aid of any external force.
Pumped: WS systems where pumping devices are used to convey water from the sources to the reservoirs for distribution to the consumers.
Uses and utilization of the Dashboard
This dashboard screens and displays Gravity and Pumped WS systems.
This dashboard facilitates the relevant and / or responsible agency to identify the specific needs of the CBOs / WS systems of the two categories and plan the required type of training and skills development. Guidelines & Caretaker manuals etc., required for different types of schemes can thus be developed and disseminated.
The relevant and / or responsible agency would be in a position to plan and organize the categories of appropriately skilled manpower required to be mobilised for providing technical advice & ensuring related support /backup services (eg; In the case of pumped systems service providers with special skills in electro-mechanical fields need to be mobilised.)
Further to this, backup support services from the pump suppliers need to be mobilised in the respective localities.
Location Data
When an office is available, its location will be displayed as the location of the particular CBO. If not, either the approximate center of the service area or the main reservoir location will be displayed as the CBO location.
Limitations
No records under the Data Field "Source" would result in a CBO being categorized under "No Data."
